Article 5

We got it today. Now just waiting on the Travel Approvel.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Today my sweet baby girl turns 2.  We are excited for her but sad we could not be with her on this special day. We plan to have many birthday's with her in the years to come! We love and plan to be with her soon!!!

Article 5

We got the LOA corrected and our I800. Then I did the DS-260 so we could get her SS Card. Now we are waiting on the Article 5 from China. We will then get our TA (travel approvel), make travel plans, get our visa's and go on a 2 week trip to China. We are at the "hurry up and wait stage" (again!) but we are at least getting closer! :)

Finally a little progress!

We'll, we got our LOA from China and they had Aria marked as a boy. Last time I checked, she was missing that bit. So to get it corrected took another 2 1/2 weeks on top of the 63 day that we already waited. Well, so there we were not being able to do anything. I finally got the correct one, sent it to USCIS to finish the I800 process. We were approved!!! Now I have to get the NVC letter, file for a DS-260, wait for our Article 5 from China, make travel plans and apply for our visa's. After all of that is done we can travel to China to pickup our sweet little girl!
Hoping to have her before Christmas, but not holding my breath. It seems like if something can go wrong, it has.

LOA Baby!

Holt called yesterday to let us know that we got our LOA and that they would be overnighting it to us with the next stuff to get done! Whoot Whoot!!!

Visa's?

Finished the paperwork to get our visa's, now just waiting on our LOA.

Travel Packet

Well I got the info on our Travel Packet. Is talks about all the stuff you need to do and get together to be able to travel. Getting closer!!! :)

Amendment

Well, it looks like I will be doing an amendment on our home study which just means changing a few things, but there will not be a fee. Woohoo!!! We still have to do the Supplement 3 because of the age difference and that is fine. Things are falling into line. Lets just hope that we get our LOA from China soon! I am SOOO ready to have my little girl here!!! :)

Update ?

Might have to update home study and send a supplement 3 with our I800 because Aria is not yet 2yrs old. Will be calling the officer at USCIS to see if I really need to do this because the LOA has not be done yet. Aria might be so close to being 2yrs old when the LOA is issued that we may not need to do the update. Lets hope for no updates!!!

Now we are just waiting on our LOA from China.

Matched!!!

Well we where called on the 6th with a matched and accepted her on the 7th. Out little Aria will turn 2 November 27th.  She is a little younger than we thought that we would get but she was just to precious!!!

Papers to China

Well, if finally happened...our paper work to get our sweet little Aria went to China Friday July, 5 2013.
We are excited and nervous as we seem to be getting closer to finding out who our little one might be!
